Be Civil, America! is a not-for-profit organization founded for the promotion of civility in American politics and life in general. The organization has no relationship with any political parties or ideologies. It is a completely non-partisan organization that takes no stance on any political issues whatsoever. The sole reason for the creation of Be Civil, America! is to encourage a return to polite discourse and disagreement in political debates, protests and races across the country.

Be Civil, America! was founded in the wake of the 2010 healthcare reform controversy in response to the increasing levels anger and bad behavior on both sides of the aisle.
